I have never used IE at home. Always used FireFox because its so much better. Dont use Chrome mainly because FF attracted me first, and Chrome wasnt out yet.

Not necessarily. In the business world most companies use IE because they don't fully trust open source software. However they wouldn't really be the ones downloading beta software either.

Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.

I like Chrome better mainly just because it looks cleaner IMO. I also like the homepage that shows you your top 8 most visited sites.

You can do that in FF too. And you can get like 12 sites on the homepage. Either way, Chrome or FF are the best. I just like FF better I guess.

IE is crap because its less secure (dont know about 9), and FF runs sites better and more properly, as does Chrome.

    Re: Windows Internet Explorer 9

All of the browsers have issues, period. As a web developer you learn quickly that things that work in IE might not work in other browsers and vice versa, because they all have little quirks. IE has gotten better with their browsers, as they used to be totally against industry standards which caused all kinds of headaches for programmers. I use Firefox because I can make it look closer to what I want it to look like (lean) and all the other cool plugins that IE doesn't allow.

BTW, when IE8 came out there was a study that said it was the MOST secure browser so the 'security issues' thing is a myth. More people use IE, more people try to crack IE, and that's a simple fact. I believe it was the same study that said FF was the worst for security. Doesn't change the fact that I'm going to use it.

Browser wars are great for the people who use them as it forces Microsoft, Mozilla, Opera, Google, all of them, to advance their product and in the end, we all win.

Umm..i dont really care for that feature, besides, i can have my fav pages on the toolbar at top. But if i did have to use something other then IE, it would be firefox.

Hmmmm...didn't know that. Oh well, either way I prefer the overall look that comes by default with Chrome.
