As most every gamer knows on Nov 10th of this year Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 comes out. This is a highly anticipated game and from the looks of things, just flat out awesome. Take a look at this:

TKC has big plans for this game and our plan is this: a day 1 multiplayer game server.

We want to have the most popular servers for MW2 and in order to do that, we plan to have a day 1 server for when the game comes out, however, it's not enough to have a day 1 server, we need to have people there so that others are attracted to our server over some of the other servers. We want as many of you as possible to pre-order the game so that you can get your game as soon as it comes out. I will be using the GameStop option to reserve a copy for in-store pickup so that I don't have to wait for the mail. By the way the game isn't cheap so start saving NOW! Here is the link:

Others like Best Buy and Fry's are also taking pre-orders but don't have an in-store pickup option so it's up to you. I'm not sure if generally you get the game on release date if you have it shipped, I'm thinking not.

Help TKC by helping us to have the first BIG server for Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2. Order ASAP and make sure you join us on Nov 10th.

Just read this at the GameStop site:

Pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 by November the 9th at 11am CST with overnight shipping and get guaranteed delivery on the street date of November the 10th! If your product does not arrive on the street date, we will fully refund your shipping charge. Continental United States only. Must have Overnight Service available in your area. Offer void if you are unable to accept a delivery that was attempted. So you CAN have it delivered and receive it on day 1 but if you aren't there to accept the package, you'll either have to wait for them to try again, or go pick it up, so this is still risky unless you know someone will be there to receive the package.

I have now pre-ordered with GameStop to pickup the game on the day it comes out. It doesn't cost you anything to pre-order upfront, you'll just have to have your $64 on the day you pick it up.

If I had a faster computer, I would. I can't even play TF2 on mine since I only have a 256mb video card and it's an AGP slot so I can't upgrade

I hope to have it asap, but a friend of mine who I'm living with for the school year is planning on getting it for the ps3 when its released, so I may wait to get it.

Makes sense.. its usually continental games that are released at different times (ie. fifa--we have to wait in north america)

It's just important peeps that we have some people playing on our servers on day 1 so we can help establish ourselves as a top COD MW2 server early on. Then that will really help us grow and remain intact and solid. Not to mention being able to find games easily on TKC COD servers.
