I can no longer join either Flem's or Squid's servers. They do not allow me to join the server with a "mat_dxlevel" of less than 80. However, if I put my dxlevel to 80 my game crashes. The only way to play with out crashing every minute is to make it 72. I have tried just about everything to fix the problem and basically I believe my video card is not compatible. I do not have the money to buy a new one however and can play just fine on other servers. In fact, with the new drivers I got the graphics look better than ever. So therefore, unless the servers can be switched back to the way they were I will not be able to play in them. It has been fun and if you are looking to play on T3's or any other public server hit me up.

I am back in. Thanks T3! Was not trying to be dramatic. I really couldn't play there and it was worrying me haha.

Nemesis.. let me know if you're still getting in because I didn't remove zblocker... if it starts happening again, i'll remove it.

That is very odd that you did nothing and I can get in again. Although it seemed you didn't do anything for me to not be able to play so I guess the HL2DM gods did not want me playing on TKC servers for a few days. I was able to play yesterday and than again today. Let's hope it continues to work!

So I figured out why its working. My "dxlevel" is at "81." Why it seems to be working now and wasn't before at that level is beyond me. It seems that, as long as when I open HL2DM and change the video resolution to 640 x 480 it will work fine. Hopefully (knock on wood) this will continue to work fine because my graphics are much better and I am playing sick with them.
