    I am ALMOST back

Hello fellow TKCers! It is I, Deathwish! I just flew off my ship and am in transit back to the states. I am building a monster of a new PC. i am going to get the gtx 680 and have 3 monitors plus the accessory display. Its gonna be sick. I miss playing! Can't wait to be back in the action! Tell me whats new.

Nice, only thing I would do different is the PSU. I wouldnt have went with anything less than 1200w. It provides you with room in case you want to expand. Say you decide to go SLI with the 680, well you will definately be needing more PSU! Also if your going to be overclocking, which Im sure you will given you got the 2500k, you will want more PSU. Also, find one that is modular. It will save you the headache of having a big group of unused wires and where to put them! Also, you will want to find a different CPU cooler. The stock Intel ones are JUNK!

Thats the PSU I have and recommend it highly.

For air cooling, the Noctua NH-D14 is pretty much the best performing. There's also the Phanteks which I think looks a LOT better than the Noctua, and it performs pretty much the same. If you need something smaller, go with a 212+ or a liquid setup like the H80 or H100.

Also keep in mind populating four DIMM slots slightly reduces overclockability as opposed to just two. I dunno if that's a concern, just figured I'd mention.

Also to use all 32GB of RAM you have to get WIndows 7 Pro or Ultimate 64 bit. Home Premium even 64 bit only supports 16. You probably already were with this amount of money but just figured id throw it out there.

For decent CHEAP air cooling, definitely the hyper 212+. My last cpu was ice cold with that thing with only one fan on it. I have the Corsair H80 liquid cooler right now, and I LOVE it. Works fantastic.
