Rented MW3 On My Xbox...

I have a gamefly subscription, so i rented MW3 on my xbox just to see how bad it really was. It took all of the like 20 minutes of me playing to realize that it was a MW2 map pack, and to put it back in the envelope and send it back. Anyone else played it or own it on the pc or console?

nope... after i wasted money on MW2 i decided to write off the whole series all together

It's not a "Map pack" there's several different secondaries, new changes to sort of "Balance" things, (Secondary's fold out or have to be readied) They added a profeciency system to each weapon as well as all the weapons are about balanced I've found no "BS" weapons so far, now with that said the maps are still open ended maps filled with a bunch of crap to make it look clusterf****ed the lighting system sucks, the graphics are old hat, and it still has P2P as a networking system along with hackers from day one, but so did BF3, the one and ONLY thing that I find that MW3 beats BF3 in is game speeds, if I only have 10 minutes, I can play maybe 2 games of MW3, in BF3 that's not even a quarter of the match. It's not worth 60 bucks, but it is worth it's weight in fun if you happen to get a copy handed to you.

Only because my friends play it and its fun time to time

Having played single player I can say it's REALLY boring, in Black Ops and MW2 as well as CoD4 they gave you a feeling of "I'm a bad a**" in CoD4 blasting a guys arm off with a 50 cal, in MW2 going down hill in a snowmobile and jumping a huge ravine, in black ops orchestrating a prison riot as well as other things. In MW3 that's nowhere to be found, I slogged through the campaign each map the same, Spawn, Kill enemies, leave, Spawn Kill enemies win. No challenge or "Fun" parts just shoot shoot shoot, I nearly blew my own head off due to boredom.

If you guys have never seen zero punctuation before, it is so hilarious. He hates on pretty much all games.

My sons felt that mw3 was a big let down. The middle son beat the single player missions in 3 hrs on Normal mode and went back and beat it again on hard mode .

Oh yes, Spawn in, flash bang a hallway, shoot the 6 russians there, pick up their auto rifles, then rinse and repeat, plane crashes pick enemies off from behind cover and get killed by the evil russian! Weee exciting =P BTW cecil, Zero punctuation is awesome. Haha, then again a lot of his opinions are based solely on single player, and on a rough opinion ffs, he says BF3 singleplayer is nothing but a cod4 rip off.

Yeah, i don't watch his videos for any type of opinion i consider when buying a game though, i watch them because they are hilarious.
