F*** THAT! The whole micro-transaction f2p gaming scheme is so lost on me... I'm definitely NOT in their demographic.. I refuse to be nickle & dimed to death by buying "points"! grrrrr this whole scheme turns/pisses me off.
I used to get mad about ppl who just simply had more free time than me always having an advantage in WoW... and now ppl who have less time but more $$ are going to get all the advantages... again.. F*** THAT! F*** the carrot and F*** GAMING if this is the future of it... I'll go play virtual poker before I buy a micro transaction... at least then there's at least a possible ROI besides frustration geesh!

LOL!, woosaw Thrilla. You know as well as I that micro-transaction style games won't last long or even take a majority of the gaming market. Especially with the economic difficulties just about every country but China and Germany are going through. Revolution is in the air and there's no way the "masses" will allow big business to bully them in such a manner for much longer, the wealth distribution in the world has almost hit the 90 to 10 margin where 90% of the wealth is distributed to 10% of the population, through out history people have refused to get screwed by people in power once this margin has been reached. If we do anything like our ancestors did, micro transaction games will fall off with most other things that revolve around people with more money than brains. Sorry for the little eco-rant just got done reading a few news papers lol.

Re: DLC: The Game
See, this is what the future of gaming is. Unfortunately businesses have figured out ways to be both good and bad at it, take valve, TF2 was 20 bucks, then if you wanted extra stuff you had a choice A) Find it. B) Buy it. Both fair options, and feasible (I've found new items the day they've released to the store) Then there's companies like activision. HEY YOU BOUGHT THE GAME! GRATS! Now here's 5 more maps? You're bored of the same 7 maps we gave you to start aren't you? Just 15 measly dollars and there you go! Oh? What's that? Not good enough? Well then don't get it, but when you get kicked from your friends lobbies don't cry! Hell even those free2play mmo's charge for items or perks, while I hate it it is how they maintain their service there is always a fine line between a company and a money hording monster.
