    Re: the real cost

I wish I had 3g's lying around waiting for a better PC. After I build this one I will be saving every pay at least a portion to go to future upgrades so then come another 5 years I can have a huge budget haha. As it stands now though unless someone decides LETS HELP LUNI OUT! I got not bf3 till Christmas. It's why I'm stocking up on single players hahaha

My real cost is not available yet, I have to see what the wife wants in return for me building the new gaming system plus the cost of the game, I might be in debt more than the US government after what I will have to give her in return. :icon_eek:

lol, I know exactly what you mean booyaa! My wife's making a list of junk longer than my upgrades list and with twice the price tag. . . . . She got an Alienwarez M17 when I got my GTX 460SE so I'm sure you can imagine the damage she's gonna be doing.

In total jona I'll be spending about 800 including the game but I'm getting an i7 2600k, 12gb ddr3 and a republic of gamers motherboard. ( not sure which mobo yet )

Sandy Bridge is dual channel memory not tri channel, just fuel for thought.

yeah so 12GB is not an ideal setup. just make sure you get a dual channel set.
