Out for a week

hey guys!
So we rented a cottage by the lake for a week. no internet there. but 500 movies!

going to have lots of fun. its been ages since i swam in a canadian lake.

the wings appear to move slowly, because i can only capture 30fps.

I'm gonna add my 'out for at least a week' to this thread: I'm moving in to a new college apartment at the end of the week, working the last week of my internship, have a million places to go and have already packed up my desktop so it's one less thing to pack up later. So I won't be able to game till I have it set up and have internet, hopefully by next weekend.

im back now! it was amazing. first time ive spent that long in the canadian outdoors. beautiful views, lovely animals. we had a humming bird feeder, and I stood 5 inches from it taking videos of hummingbirds.

The hummingbirds around here are fearless. Ive had one land on the picnic table beside me. They dart around like mini fighter jets buzzing your head!

I actually held one once. It flew into our garage and was freaking out and couldn't figure out the the huge gaping opening (open garage door) was an exit as well as an entrance. It got tired of flying and landed on a counter and it let me pick it up and I held it for about 5 minutes before it flew off. Very cool birds.

i actually held my finder half an inch under it while it was drinking. too bad i didnt have a camera then.
