    anyone use speedfan?

Ok so i just got my comp back together. figured id grab a temp monitor program. installed speedfan and temp3 is 85C while everything else is 25-33C. i googled it and theres no way to know what that is specifically referencing on my motherboard. so i checked the bios to c if there was anything in there saying what temp 3 was monitoring. however there was nothing in my bios with that temp. im hoping its reading nothing but kinda scared of burning something up. I have an email into MSI to see if they can tell me what they have temp senosr 3 set to. just wondering if anyone else has/had this issue or might know what it is.

I haven't used it, and don't have an MSI board but I can give it a try to see if any odd numbers pop up for me. I'll let you know tomorrow when I can test it.

well i googled this some more and it seems (hopefully) that alot of motherboards are missing temp 3 sensors. there are a ton of peeps that say there temp 3 sensors read like this as well. There was even one guy that said his temp 3 reading is 127C. which would essentially mean it was on fire so......

Yep, my third temp is quite hot, lol. This was taken after I'd been running games for a few hours. I'm not quite sure why my temp 3 is so high and fluctuating though, I'd think it'd be set since there is no sensor.

just get the desktop gadget "All CPU Meter" and download the program "Core Temp" with it. It shows you your processor speed/usage, and RAM amount/usage and Core Temp allows it to monitor temps.

Here's my gadgets, All CPU Meter is the top one.

then that's your CPU temp. It doesn't have to show all the core temps because every single one has the same temp at any given time.

Not necessarily They can vary from 1 to 2 degrees :icon_mrgreen: :P But generally, they are the same.

Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.
