    AMD Radeon HD 6950 to HD 6970 Mod
    thought some of you guys might like this :icon_mrgreen:


    edit: it only saves around $70.00+ but man thats pretty cool, buy a 6950 and upgrade to a 6970 for free.
    looks like AMD is throwing in some XTRAS to beat out NVIDIA yet again :icon_gotcha:

    I've never had problems with Nvidia, only with Radeon.. every Radeon Video card I've had has been a POS

    Reminds me of something i read about some of AMD's X2 and X3 cpus could be opened to 4 cores.

    Quite similar to most of the GTX 465's from Nvidia, the card is equiped with GTX 470 hardware, but all you need to do is just flash the bios and the GTX 470 Bios.

    My 6870 works fine :P

    2/3s of ATi Cards that came out when vista did didn't work...

    I read it in PC Magazine...or some other computer article, its not made up..lawl... the cards are fine now, but they used to have some serious vista problems. ATi makes good cards imo, but they have terrible drivers

    eh, maybe in the past they did (before 2010) but the new catalyst drivers are amazing 10.12 added new interface
    + w/ monthly driver updates we are always getting performance boosts out of our games :icon_watup:

    Yea, before 2010, there stuff was jacked up, but now, its a lot better

    i agree with that considering amd beat nvidia to the market w/ stable running dx11 cards that aren't ovens
