Okay so my speakers AND stereo are going dead :icon_evil: sooooo I need a new setup. I don't want anything too fancy or expensive but I just want it to sound good. My neighbor has Pioneer equipment in his Mustang and it sounds AMAZING. So with that, I've searched up some speakers and a cd player. here's what I got:

    CD player: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Pioneer-DEH-1200MP-CD-Player-DEH1200MP-/150472707270?pt=Car_Audio_In_Dash_Receivers&hash=item2308df4cc6#ht_3234wt_1189

    Rear speakers: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PIONEER-TS-G1343R-5-25-280-WATT-2-WAY-CAR-SPEAKERS-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5adafbc269QQitemZ390220989033QQptZCarQ5fAudioQ5fVideo#ht_2685wt_1165

    Front Speakers: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Pioneer-TS-G4643R-Speaker-/150490724141?pt=Car_Speakers&hash=item2309f2372d#ht_2994wt_1189

total comes out to around $140.

I don't know about changing the wire, I might have to, since it's the stock wires...from '92...lol.

Wires should be good unless your getting buzzing sounds from the speakers (which would mean your grounded somewhere and probably have some bare wire). As for brands, I couldn't really suggest. I haven't bought a lot of audio equipment TBH. I'm a fan of Xplod CD Players, mainly because I've bought three in the past and they've all been really easy to use and lasted. However, my dad does have an older Pioneer that he's had for about 5-6 years, so I'm not going to knock them. A lot of speaker buying is to go to a local audio store and just listen to them. The only issue is that they typically have their speakers in boxes and since your in a room vice in your car, they'll sound a little different, but it will at least give you a good idea. I'd also be sure to Google up reviews on any that your looking at and see what other people are saying.
