I dont have the consol

you can't getinto console?

Ughh..i forget how to restore windows bootloader but cant you just use GRUB to boot windows?

My options off the disk are

Re-install windows 7

Startup repair

System restore

System image recovery

Windows memory diagnostic

Command Prompt

1. Put Disc in drive

2. Startup PC

3. Let the PC run into the CD

4. Choose the command prompt

7. Type Fixmbr

8. Type exit

9. Eject Disc

10. Load windows !

11. Enjoy !

try what ME said

Instead of fixmbr...try this
fixmbr \Device\HardDisk0
Idk what device/HDD you're using.

I get a syntax error

For the second suggestion it still does not recognize fixmbr you sure it isn't sopposed to be installed prior?

Alternatively, you can run "bootsect /nt60 SYS" or "bootsect /nt60 ALL" to repair the system partition or all partitions. Eject the DVD, and restart computer. Your computer should now boot Win 7 again.

Well, next time, tell your brother to download a live CD instead of messing up your computer!!!!

i know a friend installed it for him but he didn't like it so he deleted it. Definatly putting a pass when i fix this
