Now i have some problems with the new ATI Radeon 10.4 (it's not a beta any more), i can't even play HLDM, the tech. supp. of XFX is trying to find a way to fix the problem (I don't know if i am the only one who is having problems with the new driver).

I'm still using Catalyst 9.9, all new versions for some reason crash my games and fail playing any movie or Avi file...screen keeps going black, then recovers saying "ATI Family ...driver stopped responding and recovered ..."
If anyone has or had the same issues please let me know (with a pm) have had these issues with 9.10 upto 10.1 or 10.2, and havent bothered trying the latest versions, my system is running just fine with my current drivers.

I was using the 10.3 and it was fine but when i heard about the new one thought it would be better to have but it wasn't a good idea.

You could always just uninstall 10.4 and reinstall 10.3 if you think that's what's causing your problems.

But when you go on ATI/AMD or XFX they don't give you the chance to go back (there is no link to download the 10.3 any more) but i am not the only one with the same problem. TMP=Linear) I was on ATI/AMD(forum) and i found some thing (http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pa ... otfix.aspx), i am gonna try it and i'll let you know if every thing is back to normal.

i have not had any problems yet with the release of 10.4. srry to hear about bad luck

I found a 100 GB partition i wanst using so i installed 7 there again and steam and hl2dm seem to be working

I re-installed the 10.3 because every thing seems to lag when i was using the 10.4a, specially when i am playing BC2, i don't know if there will be an offilcial fix(10.4a) for the 10.4, the one that i was using is a 10.4a Preview features.

Ive been using it from the day it came in beta.
I realy love the design! Bit hard to find things in the start, but after some minutes you know where everything is
