For those who don't know, the Navy has sent almost a dozen ships (of various sizes) out to help with the relief effort. A quick add and there should be around 15-20k sailors out there to help, plus we're setting up a relief camp at our base in Cuba for those that have no where to go and I believe they have been moving people to it from the Haitian islands. I know that my command alone is asking for around 20 or so volunteer's to go to Cuba to help out for around 6-8 months so we're in it for the long haul. I hate to hear about the family you've lost brownman but you know, as well as I do, it's key to stay positive in situations like this and be thankful for those that are alright.
