New AVG ANTI-VIRUS editon 9.0

the free version is good, i just updated to 9.0 today. personally i think paying for avg is a ripoff. the avg internet security is $55 for 1 comp for 1 year. go to pctools.com and buy pctools internet security, and it's $50 for 3 computers for a year, and has a much better rating than avg.

No i don't think so man ,pctools is not good and their rating ,you have to see who do it for them ,pay attention to the dates and the names .If you want to know whitch one is better you have to try them both ,even norton is better than pctools .

Do you know that there are softwares to create your own rating and pctools !!!!!!.

AVG is good if your cheap but personally, i like Trend micro and Norton

Why do you think ATI Radeon and Nvidia always ask people to don't use norton ,go find the answer and you 'll talk to me later .Trend i am not even going to talk about it ,it is a waste of time . If you don't beleive me go on ATI Radeon or Nvidia read by your self what they have said about AVG trend and norton

The free AVG isnt the greatest anti-virus software...it misses a lot of things others like kaspersky, norton, trend and mcafee find.

AVG works just fine. I've used Norton (in the old days) and Kaspersky and AVG does a find job. You can't really say that AVG doesn't catch as much as Kaspersky as 9.0 has been out for a week.

If you know about computers and how to avoid viruses for the most part, AVG is a great choice.

There are better ones for sure but when I could not get my A drive working because it had a virus attached this was one of the down loads that was recommended ... so i have been using it ..
