Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.

I hear you computer issue that don't improve cause so many headaches. my buddy just upgraded to a new computer and me and him were putting it together and he decided he wanted to use longer screws to hold radiator to tower than what was sent well he punctured the radiator in 4 places and leaked coolant on the mobo well no damage has been done to mobo. but he got none conductive coolant and now the connecters for 24 pin and power on are wet and wont dry and he can't fire up the computer at all. we have tried using blow dryer diabetic needles to draw it out cotton on none sensitive connections and still is wet. there is no leaks in cooling system now but it wont fire up.

    Re: the computer from hell

yeah unfortunately with so much new tech creeping up every other month this sorta thing happens alot. That is why i ALWAYS recommend getting whatever warranty you can. All it takes is for a stray static spark to completely fry a video card *cough*. But yeah i always read the enitre manual and usually do some google searching on the web when building new stuff. Thats why when i built my latest pc i knew i was going to have a similar issue with over volting the ram. But at least he had it covered. Losing 50-80 bucks a pop cuz u didnt want to pay the $7 warranty makes me laugh. I knew a guy from work that bought a $1300 dollar tv from best buy and wouldnt pay the like $80 warranty. 2 months later during a storm it went POP! i think that he somehow fanagled it out of his home owners insurance but still had to pay a 500 deductible.
