kinda off topic, but you know, I love steam and all, but really if a game is available on disc, I'll get that, because then you aren't restricted to only one account using the game like you are with Steam.

y is this a problem for you?
i have my steam account installed on 10 or so different pc's between my brothers, parents, my own, and friends
most pc games only let you install and activate 10 times (not including legit uninstalls)
i personally prefer buying on steam or like service as no matter where i am at i can get my games :)

I'm talking about, say if you purchase and download BC2 from steam, you can ONLY use it with that steam account. You can install it on multiple computers, but you will only be allowed to play it on that account. However, if you purchase the DVD, you can create multiple online accounts to play online. I'm pretty sure ME and his brother both have separate BC2 accounts, and they use only one DVD.

You can have only one email adress under one serial. (because after the installation of the game on your comp. you have to type your key and one email adress, after that the key won't ever work with any other email adress). :)

Right, but what you do is create multiple soldier names.

Yep, i d/led it off of EA, so i can install it on 5 PCs of my choice, and they can all be running single player AT THE SAME TIME! So i gave a copy to my friend (but not the online). And my bro created a diff soldier game on my computer, and I love it, because it isn't tied to steam, so i was talking to crimson on my laptop via steam while my bro was playing BC2 on my computer. Too bad this game can't run on my bro's computer :icon_neutral:

Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.
