Don, I totally forgot about the tax return check! This will be the first year that I am no longer an independent of my mom; in addition I have made the most money then any other year and claimed 0. Hopefully I too receive at least enough money to buy a new computer, or more likely the parts for me to make a new computer.

both my comps are single core. my desktop can barely run hl2dm and even then it lags and freezes like crazy. my laptop has a 3.3ghz single core, 1 gb of ram and only a 128mb onboard video card. i can't even install portal on here because stupid Toshiba stopped making drivers for my video card back in '05. very frustrating. :icon_mad:

Any Intel Core 2 Duo should work well with the game. More importantly, what is your graphics card?

most places offer it with a pre-order. i pre-ordered thru steam and got one. Its fun as heck. i have a dual core amd with 3 gigs of ram and a 9600gt and i run it decent. its alot mroe action/team oriented than even modern warfare. so im hoping the clan can get into this and we can get some good team games going.

Yes I got a key and this game is the BOMB. It's even better than I had hoped for. It has seriously made me forget the heartbreak that MW2 turned out to be. BC2 is definitely the next big game for TKC. With the game play, the many different ways to play, I seriously think those members who weren't even that excited about BC2, if they give it a chance, will fall in love with it. I mean dude, you can control a tank or an Apache helicopter.. or you can play as infantry like many more are used to. It's just so much fun and really gives you a sense of being in a war with a goal to either destroy the objectives or defend them. Really an awesome, addicting game.

It's one of those games where you'll lose sleep because you can't stop playing.
