    Banning TKC members

Our rules apply to members as well as non-members. If you break the rules you will be treated the same as everyone else. Because of this Nemesis has been banned for the day for bad language. He has been warned in the past and at this point we will start banning. If you are a TKC member and catch another member using foul language or otherwise breaking server rules, feel free to PM me, donjuan, king, oscar or van and we will sort it out.

If you can not follow our rules, you are subject to removal from this clan.

O_o we were voted into the clan BECAUSE we follow the rules. that's just wrong for one of our own to break them.

But I agree with you on banning members. everyone is subject to the consequences of breaking the rules, including TKC members.

    *EDIT*

But we gotta be careful just in case someone who has an issue with one of the TKC members tries to lie to get them banned. My suggestion is, if a non-TKC member reports a member breaking the rules, they need to have either a demo or some witnesses so that doesn't happen.

Some of us weren't voted in.. we were invited and it used to be more willy nilly.

I would ask this.. are there any TKC members who feel we should enforce rules on others while being above the rules ourselves?

Exactly..if we are going to enforce them, we should be the first ones to obey them and be an example to the players non-members AND members that we respect the rules...

I agree totally! We have to give the good example. Its not moral to have rules just for others. it applies to EVERYBODY!

I think cursing for normal people is a visceral response, especially if someone is entrapping another by spamming something across their mic etc... im not surprised that its come to this... and i refrain from getting involved with the this tribunal... but i think, in this case, to gang up on the afflicted party is to be half-witted... for the reason mentioned above.

As for the other discussion, equality doesnt exist; equivalency, on the other hand, does -- and its at least self-sustaining.

And I've seen other tkc members take the opportunity to break the rules when it presents itself, or when they feel safe... but i have no authority -- which is another means as saying i have little responsibility for others

You seem to know quite a bit about the incident that was reported. I know you said you wouldn't get involved, but feel free to enlighten me as to what you know. In PM if necessary.

Nemesis was probably first warned for this stuff more than a year ago.. I think we've been fair. He wouldn't even deny he loses his head sometimes.

How can we enforce rules and expect people to follow them if we aren't willing to police ourselves?

    omg, such big words. lol

back on topic though: i think it's a good idea to start disciplining tkc members, even though it may feel weird.

There is nothing weird about it .We are TKC members now because we used to respect the rules when we were simple players in all the TKC's servers ,so why we have to stop now ? :)

That makes it sound like every TKC member has been breaking rules for a long time without anybody doing anything, i think most TKC members behave good and have done a nice job reporting people not behaving too, about TKC disciplining other members, it started since the clan was created..and since any member joined...it's all common sence...not only non-members should be disciplining but members too, and we all should know that already, like i said...since you joined the clan.. and it shouldn't feel weird if we all have behaved properly and have shown a good example...
