    Those LG Curved Monitors

We've all seen people like Linus and some other gamers using multiples of the LG 34" Curved monitors, usually though all monitors are aligned horizontally and side by side, making only a single curved display, but this guy has FIVE of these, big difference..he has them aligned vertically, making use of the curved display in two ways. Monitors naturally curved vertically, and curved via mounting around him, making one complete concave monitor setup.

    Re: Those LG Curved Monitors

I don't think I would be as good a player as I am now simply because the things happening on the edges of the screen would get missed more because my eyes are focused more on the center screen and not 3 screens away. Also, I find the edges of each monitor distracting.

It is pretty cool looking though when your brain forgets about the edges and you can just take in the whole image. However, I'd rather use 1 monitor and have a decent KD than have 3, 4 or 5 and have a conversation piece.

After w while of playing on it, your brain/eyes would totally omit the edges and it be like one big concave screen :D

    Re: Those LG Curved Monitors

I think you're kinda right, you're brain would omit the screen edges after pretty fast .. but on the flip side, if you could a single monitor of equal size, I'm sure anyone would say 'much better, the lines are gone' ... LOL

As far as focusing only on the center and not looking out towards the other 3 screens, I think I'd rather have the added peripheral vision that setup would have ... I know that playing on my monitor 21:9 ultrawide, and then going back and playing on a 16:9, I feel like I have blinders on and boxed in on the 16:9 ... :icon_skeptical_5:
