I have started purchasing parts for a new PC build. It will be slow going but in the end I will have me a new pc. Some of the components I will be using in my current pc until I have enough to start the next build.

Purchased:
Corsair H2100 Gaming Headset
Logitech G910 Keyboard
EVGA GTX 980 TI SC with backplate

To be purchased:
Intel Core I7 5930k Haswell-E 6 core cpu
Asus X99-E WS mobo
G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 32GB 288-Pin DDR4 ram
CORSAIR AX1500i 1500w psu
EVGA GTX 980 TI SC w/bp GPU for SLI :icon_crazy: :icon_twisted:

Debating on yet:
water cooling vs. air cooling
case

I am using the headset, keyboard and the 980ti. I am blown away by how great this GPU handles everything I have thrown at it so far. Ultra settings on everything and not a hiccup to speak. Using the stock clocks also. Haven't messed around with OCing it yet. Not that I will need to lol.

Go water cooling like I did. The corsair h100i is a nice unit that requires nothing at all as far as maintenance. You install it and forget it.

If I go water cooling I'll be water cooling my CPU and my GPUs like my last build. I haven't had to touch it since I built it.

Ordered the following parts to continue on with the build. Figuring I should have everything in about 5-6 weeks(the rest of the parts ordered and at my place). Then I can start piecing it together!

Decided to get the Lian Li PC-D666WRX case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6811112456
G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series 32GB 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820231798
12-bgears 120mm fans(to replace stock fans and put fans in optional locations on case): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product

May I ask why you are spending $500 on a case? It doesn't even look that impressive, and for that price I would at least want to have a decent PSU included.

This was the cheaper case out of the group of cases I was looking at. Almost sprang for a nice Caselabs Case. This has the room I was looking for in a case. Ill have plenty of room to route all my water cooling supplies inside plus have enough room to mount multiple radiators inside also. I didnt buy it to impress anyone. I bought it because it was what I wanted. I know the PSU I want and will be getting also. Call it overkill if you may

Mobo is on its way! Should have it Tuesday. Asus X99-E Work Station. Capable of quad SLI at x16 PCIe!! If all goes the way it is, should have all the parts and the pc built by the end of the month/beginning of next month.

Only thing is its costing me more than a dime! Good song by a great singer.
Watch on youtube.com

I have the mobo and the PSU. Just need the CPU and a couple drives and this thing will get fired up. Going to test it with Windows 10. See how it fairs. Been following a couple peoples posts, and reading up on it here.

Well he had a unique voice that I liked.. but I wouldn't really call him a "great singer".

I7 - 5930k is in my possession. Have a Toshiba 5TB 128mb cache Sata 6gb drive on the way. I wasnt going to get such a big drive but it was on newegg sale this weekend for $145.00. I figured since I needed a storage drive the price was right lol. Last part I am going to purchase for now for this build is SAMSUNG SM951 M.2 SSD PCI-E. It will be my boot drive.
