only problem really seen on the 290x is the heat and power consumption. its crazy high.

i really want to pick up two of these bad boys but i want to wait until December when mantel is added to battlefield 4 (should give a decent performance boost to anyone using a HD7XXX series card or newer) as well as the frame pacing driver amd is hopefully releasing soon.

I got the R9 280X, and running Render.Perfoverlayvisible 1, finally shows my GPU and CPU running dead even finally. Before my GPU graph line was way above the CPU one, and I only run a couple things on high after reading about some video settings that really make no difference. So far so good, I love the card.
