cheap headset

want to stay under $50.00 (replacing a razer that cat chewed through). just bought/received a cheapo from amazon today that is not worth a damn dollar so any suggestions are appreciated.
i use a bose surround so really all i need is a quality mic as a full headset is useless as i just wear it around my neck for the mic. this is the pos i bought

Well apparently the g330's are more than $50. I didn't think I'd paid that much for them.

I've owned 2 Sigma, Tactic 3d, and loved them.. they are durable, full earcuff head set with mic, surround sound, >$30 bucks they have another series for $80, but I didn't see any difference

Edit: they apparently went up In price, they are now $60.. eh, I've had mine for 2 years so I guess inflation.. but I saw lots of what appear to be pretty decent headsets for under $50 on TigerDirect and newegg.

If you wanna pay an extra 20 bucks you could get some plantronic 780's they are really good.

Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 is what I use. I paid like $20 for them. Cheap and great sound quality IMO.
