My Asus G74Sx is a bit too heavy and large to carry around place to place so I wanna get a tablet.
I have my mind set on the new Asus transformer prime which is releasing december 19 but I will be picking it up on the 26th.
This would be great for taking notes at school and just for browsing the web. I work as a part time IT and my boss has an iPad and my boss thinks that I should get one too but I like the Asus transformer prime better. What do you guys think?

my dad has the original transformer and loves it. it has a lot more flex ability over a lot of pad including the ipad, and the keyboard attachment is definitely a plus. and the android system has a lot of useful tools that can be used in IT.
go for the transformer.

That's good to hear. We have so many simple problems with the iPad. Just getting files on it is a massive pain thanks to iTunes and you can't plug in flash drives or SD Cards.

I too was surprised how good asus did on that website.

I tried out the original pad at Staples a few nights ago and I was very impressed by it. It had very smooth transition motions from screen to screen, very fast and responsive too.

Definitely get an that, a normal Eee Transformer or a Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both are brilliant. I currently own the Eee Pad Transformer at it feels tough and the screen is a really nice IPS display. This might have been updated like the galaxy Tab with PLS technology, in which case, just get it.

Don't know what PLS Technology is (other then then its a display type), but the Transformer Prime features a Super IPS display and a Tegra 3 processor (quad core) compared to the galaxy tab & Transformer which has Tegra 2 (Dual core)

As long as you don't buy an iPad, I'm proud of you
