Ok so it looks like im going with a gigabyte z68 mobo and either the 2500k or 25600k (leaning towards the 2500k). Im selling my old cpu cooler with my mobo/cpu. Its a zalmann 9900cnps max. i loved it and i am leaning towards getting it for my new build. but i figured id ask around and see what other use/think. id like to keep it reasonable so no more than $80 or so. I dont have water cooling grommets on my case so id have to do something internal like the h60 if looking at liquid cooling.

what are you looking to get out of it?
are you looking to overclock? will noise be a issue? what size is the rear fan in your case?

if noise is a issue and you want to overclock a h80 would be your best bet ($93 on newegg)

I second this. The H80 is simple to hook up and works beautifully, I'm using one currently with my i5-2500k. Current CPU temps are 24C on stock clocks. :icon_mrgreen:

The H80 comes with two fans, one for each side of the radiator. It also has a 3-way fan speed controller built into the CPU block. It's just a button...hit it to change the fan speed on the fly. I keep mine on max and it's still hardly noticeable. Sorry for the bad quality pic, took it with my phone.
