New motherboard results...
Posted: Wed Oct 19, 2011 4:40 pmOk as some of you know I recently replaced my mobo with a Asus Sabertooth 990. I went onto our Vietnam server and another server(Atacama) and the difference is...............OH MY GOD!!!! Before when I would log into any server, the game graphics would actually freeze and all I could hear was the game noise. It took probably 20 seconds before I could actually join a squad. Now, when I log into a server...it is damn near seconds and im good to go. I truly believe there is a GREAT improvement in running crossfire @X16 for both cards and not @X16/X4. And the game play was amazingly smoother than before and the detail was much more apparent. Oh and when I was in our Vietnam server my ping read....."0'"...go figure, maybe a glich..who knows. So my advice to those that are dumber than me, listen to our fellow members who are gifted on computer knowledge. A high quality mobo is well worth it. I still like my AMD system, but I guess I will see when we play Battlefield 3. According to this new mobo in-game, should be ok doky to play.
