Agreed... AMD may be making some crazy stuff but I will always stick with the reliability i've experienced with intel chips...

im withholding judgement until i see some benchmarks. everyones like oh the bulldozers are worse. um proof? these are 8 core so im thinking that measuring it mhz wise against a 4 core isnt ideal. someone needs to get their benchmarks posted soon lol. i figure there should be a bunch my friday.

There are plenty if benchmarks that show the bulldozers loosing to cheaper intel chips. Ill post them when I get home.

Same. I love my 2500k . So glad i decided to get my 2500k months ago rather than waiting for Bulldozer.

Still. Why get an 8-core AMD CPU that performs on par with a 4-core i5-2500k save for some 3dsmax stuff? Unless you're into 3D modeling, getting the i5 is a much better deal.

true, i may get one to fiddle with plus my little brother does do 3d modeling/rendering so he can use it when i'm not, but i have a feeling i'm getting a 2600k
