i love mine, but it seems that my off road tires are absolutely horrible when it comes to any amount of snow, on top of that due to there size they are reeking havoc on the steering system so I've got to downsize to a 31" tire with a heck of lot better traction. anyway i yanked apart my external drive so i could load windows 7 on here to really get a sense of how this thing will run, but i have been plagued with issues. anytime i finish the install and it heads to first boot it always tells me that there is a critical file missing and to put the disk back in and do a repair. i am using a trial version of windows 7 enterprise that i got of Microsoft website so that could be the issue or the drive is crap, or that my USB installer is junk. more to come when i get home tonight, i may pick up a blue-ray burner on my way home :D

Believe it or not those are 34s, look small there!! I know what you mean by no traction with offroad tires in snow. I have to run 4hi if I drive this in the winter just to get enough traction to go anywhere. Bias ply tires dont help much in winter but they are great for the mud and offroad around here!

Id be willing to bet its the copy of windows from Microsoft Website thats giving you problems. Ive never had luck with them but thats just my luck!

Couple of my other jeeps!

A Camanche Chief with solid floor boards and a whole box!! That says a lot considering its from MN originally. Plus it only has ~97k on the body! The doors have the most rust on them. The body itself is pretty solid.

anyone of those i find are ether completely rusted out, or missing parts

i have switched myself over to the new system, with the motherboard i have i can only do 2 sata 3 drives in raid 0. so i picked up two 128gb m4 drives over the weekend.
here are some benchmarks:

first is my 1TB HDD:

next is my single OCZ agility 2 drive:

and the new Crucial m4 128gb raid 0 setup:
