Definitely do laser. I have a wireless laser and its never failed, slipped, or anything. 100% reliability. Otherwise its your choice.

None of the above. Get a cyborg mouse.

I prefer the RAT 9.. wireless. I don't like wired mice for gaming.. cord doesn't allow me fluent movement.

Logitech G500, works with any kind of grip, not too big and definitely not small, adjustable weight, infrared navigation produces no light or shadow when moving the mouse, so it will never screw up, always precise. No plasticy feeling, magnesium grip surface, MICRO GEAR to switch between click-to-click and hyperfast scrolling speeds. I've used one for 2 years and it is the perfect mouse.

Ive had mine going on 5 months now. Love it! Went from a standard hp mouse to this and I would never go back!

Never had a logitech, but can't imagine anything better than the R.A.T.
Maybe one drawback to it might be not ever being able to use an average mouse again.

I have a G5 at work which is the older G500, and I absolutely love it. About 2 years ago, I did have the logitech mouse cable snap on me ( I forget the model, but it was a gaming mouse). Right now at home, I use the Razer Imperator. I love this too. When my PC crashed 2 weeks ago (curse you windows update!!!!), and had to re install everything, when I pluged in my mouse, all of the settings were still the same as before because the mouse had onboard memory. But as far as logitech goes, I think that the G500 would be an excellent mouse.
