i have a 6870 and it can't be read as well.. i did some research one time it has something to do with the revision of the chip and something amd did making it right now unreadable for temperatures, but in the future they will come up with something.

I'm wondering if they updated it and somehow broke 6000 series support. I haven't updated it since I got it a few months ago. Mine doesn't even say "Radeon HD 6870" it just says "Radeon HD 6800." It also still says ATI so that tells you how old it is :PP

That sounds like bull, my EVGA 560Ti came with a program that lets me overclock/read the temp, adjust fan speed, all the neat stuff.

Probably either MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision. Both work great!

Yeah I use MSI Afterburner, but I like having a desktop gadget that I can just alt+tab out of the game to look at real quick.

I run dual monitors so no need to alt tab out! Nice to keep an eye on your system while gaming/benchmarking/ or anything in particular!
