I have 16gb of the corsair memory and they are nice but in black, they are roughly 2.5" tall. Hope that helps you out. I've pushed them as far as 2300Mhz at 1.65v. Normally I leave them at 1600Mhz and 1.65v. For some reason they are more stable at that voltage than 1.5v when im OC'd.

Sometimes measuring the bottleneck can be interpreted in so many ways. The only Thing ATI can render better then Nvidia is BSoD.

why do you need 8 gigs i have 8 gigs only because i have to do so much OS stuff that requires VM's and i have to have like 6 gigs of ram, BFBC2 doesn't even use 2 gigs when its loaded and win7 only uses 1.12 gigs. so 4 gigs is plenty

i do some graphics stuff and when im running the game, running fraps, temp monitoring programs and some other stuff all at the same time im almost maxing out the 4 gigs. so i wanna add a little bit to future proof myself and to hopefully get some faster memory to boot. im not o'c my memory and my current is like 999-24 or something like that.

Same exact issue I have. My computer is at this moment using 2.5GB of RAM between Windows, my temp/core percentage monitors, Firefox, and Spyware Doctor (idle). I go ingame and it gets close to maxing out. Steam pushes it over 3GB sometimes.

well i dint have the money and the deal expired but today i found an email from newegg ( love them) and they have 8gb of G-Skill sniper (not the low voltage tho) 1600 for $60. its 999-24 but honestly unless ur a speed freak those timings are just fine. i still wish i coulda got the other stuff but if deals like this keep rolling hopefully when i have some cash i can grab something like this.
