I did a rare thing and made a AMD system, and I made it with the fastest gaming CPU at that time....the Ahtlon 64 FX-57.
    I still have that chip.

Its free to anyone that wants it, or has an AMD board that supports it.

    Its yours!

Been bouncing around my garage for years.

    I'll need an address....PM me.

I'll send it to you and you donate the cost of the shipping to TKC.

Re: OK, time to sell one of my projects

OK....a decision was made. The initial listed system is sold with the HIS Radeon 5670 video card.

So, that leaves the following available.....

    (2) EVGA GTX 470 Video Cards, ..................$125 each, or $225 for both.

    (1) Nvidia 8800 GTS............................................................$40*

    (1) 6GB Corsair Dominator, 3x2, DDR3, Triple Channel matched set.....$65*

    (1) Netgear Rangemax Wifi Extender, WPN824EXT (New)....$10

Currrently a complete system - (Used to be my computer, Stepson was using it till recently, the case is going to get tossed eventually , but it's useful in my garage for testing)

    Price - As configured = $250
Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800, 2.93ghz................................$100 ($137 "used" was lowest price I found)
    Zalman 950 Cooler............................................................Goes with CPU
    (2) GB Corsair DDR2, PC2-6400, 2x1024.......................... $10
Nvidia 680i, SLI motherboard...........................................$125 (still selling for much more "used")
Currently using the 8800 GTS noted above
    Sony DVD/CD Writer....make offer
160 GB Hard Drive.....not really worth anything

    Currrently a complete system -

    Price - as configured - $165
    AMD Athlon II X2 245...........$25
Biostar Mobo, A880GT, With onboard Radeon 4250............$40
Ram - Borrowing 2 sticks from the triple channel kit above
    Asus DVD/CD Optical Drive - ........................$15
    500GB Seagate Barracuda HD.......................... $25
    600 Watt Power Supply..................................$ 40
    Appevia X-BOII case.......................................$ 35

Systems above INCLUDE licensed Windows 7 Home Premium....worth at least $100 installed

Two 470's for 225 sounds like a great deal for somebody I remember paying over twice that a year ago and there good cards.

Just want to say thanks for the AMD FX chip. It arrived today. I can't wait to install it and get it running. Gotta find a PSU for it now. Thinking something in the range of 600w.

$550 was for the entire system, not just the video card.

And I still have (2) GTX 470's in my garage for sale. .....Cheap
