    video card price/performance chart

Ok so sometime in the near future i WILL be getting a new vid card. I've been doing a little searching but the video cards are all over the map. had neone seen a chart that compares the price/performance aspect? Like taking the FPS and dividing it by the price kinda thing? I really like nvidia but it seems like ATI is closing the gap in a hurry. Also im leaning toward the 560Ti and probably the palit 2GB version. But ive seen alot of people saying that 2GB is overkill. So just wondering if neone has any personal experience with a 1GB and 2GB version of the same card to compare?

I have the EVGA 560Ti, 1 GB, I noticed a definite leap in performance over my 260GTX, It runs pretty cool at around 64C (overclocked) in game and around 47C idle so not too bad. I didn't do a comparison like you are looking for, but it had pretty high marks for the price range I was looking at. I got mine for $230 at CompUsa. it's been about 3 monhts and I haven't had any issues with it. I think there are better cards out there, but the price vs performance at the time I thought was a good buy. MSI had a 560Ti for about $100 more, but I didn't see much difference in performance, it had two HDMI mini ports vs the one on the EVGA, I only use one screen for the game and the other one for other applications so two HDMI ports really wasn't worth the extra $100.

its the best place for GPU benchmarks. the have charts for overall perfomance, and best value charts (perfomance/price).

With my new build, Im going with the Radeon HD 6870. looks very nice.

I havent looked at that site since early April, nice to see my system made it on the top 20! Number 7 on the list!! That was submitted before I sent my RAM in RMA.

I agree with Dragon, the 2gb may be overkill now but who's to say it wont be on BF3?!?!
