Opinion on Instant Boot

My desktop that I build has an ASRock motherboard which has the ability to instant boot with their software. I know that it requires not using a password protected login but other than that fact, what do yall think of using this?

I know getting a SSD would work wonders to minimize start up time as well but I currently have a 1TB WD 7200 rpm hard drive booting windows, the 500GB WD 7200 rpm is my backup drive, and I don't plan on paying for a SSD. I'm just looking at using the Instant Boot since I can.

Any reason to not use it, to use it only one setting or the other? I'll have a little bit of time to run some timed start ups this weekend.

seems like something doesn't work quite right: I can install it and choose a boot speed setting. Then you're supposed to click shut down, it reboots the computer on the shut down, when it restarts it then shuts down like you told it to, then it should shut down like normal from then on and boot up really quick.

The problem is there is a shell error when it restarts itself after shut down, it then shuts back down, takes almost no time to boot back up, but then the next shut down loops back to the setup shut down. It's like its not able to save its settings permanently, so if I try to use it then I will have to wait 3 times as long for shut down... not worth the short boot in case of any shut down hangups.

Hope that made sense, I'm not gonna use it since it's not working quite right. Oh, well.
