ADKstorm, is a game name that I started using since SWAT 3 game (1999). The name was derived from a vacation in the Adirondacks (ADK), NY, where I climbed 3 mountain peaks. After reaching the summit of Algonquin Mountain (5,115 ft) and starting to descend (5 hours into the trip), I was caught in a wicked storm. End result: I returned to the base as safely as I could despite the slippery conditions, mud slides and storm surged streams …very wet and cold. Would I do it again? …where do I sign up?

I’m more of a CQB games/maps fan ...Only wish Battlefield would have a VIP Escort game mode like in SWAT ...would be awesome in BF3 metro.

Haha! sounds like an awesome adventure you had in the Adirondacks! I once climbed Mount Washington on a school trip, and it was pouring rain during the whole climb. It was sooo horrible, it was awesome!

Thanks, you have made the MG36 special ...the only thing that had a chance to tame the fierce beast within …..Which I have witnessed firsthand in the BF3 BETA…glad I’m on your side.

Thanks to all for the welcome messages. BF3 will be great now I am with a super clan ....unfortunately I took the cheap route and will have to wait a bit longer to play BF3. I pre-ordered game to be delivered, but via value shipping ...which equals delay ...which equals ...I did get the game for $46 though.

Last time I ordered something this method the package decided to go on a grand tour of the east, even though the warehouse was only 175 miles away.



Oh well.

I ordered mine on June 29th from Buy.com ...was $56 with free shipping and then I had a discount code on top of that. I personally still like to have the actual disc.
