A NEW CTF WEAPON?

ok so i was playing a while ago on a sunday maybe two weeks ago and some how i found this weird weapon. i selected the alyx gun from my weapons list but i pulled out a smg like weapon. i don't know how to describe it. i thought i would only see it once but i got it again like 5 mins. ago. and this time i got a screnie. it shoots like a weird smg with a recoil. very weird.

Its a Pistol and if you right click on the it turn into an SMG and it will fire like a SMG

Yep.. the Alyx gun has two variations.

Well you didn't really have time to observe the 3 new weapons because last night's game was so fast-paced. When I first downloaded CTF I went into the TKC room before the scrimmage to check out the maps and I picked up Alyx's gun and was like O_O OMG!!! I knew her gun in EP1 and EP2 was like an automatic pistol so I was psyched that it was in CTF. There is also the Combine Sniper Rifle, and the OICW (it's a high-powered machine gun with a zoom and a grenade launcher)

I actually also went to the tkc ctf server right when in got the game. I know about all the weapons but since the pistol doesn't have a secondary weapon I didn't think the alyx gun did either. But now the alyx gun is my favorite weapon :D

Yeah it's way more powerful and more accurate than the pea shooter.

I'm not keeping secrets. Van Keizer and I were on 1.75 last night playing. It's very cool.

Any switch-over planned?

You can't switch over. They haven't released the game yet.. only us 'playtesters' can play and there is only 1 server.
