Web Development Tools

So im going into web development/flash game development as my career. Its a decision I made when I was 13. Im 14 now. Big step, eh?

So I want to develop a working website file, since I have no domain to post it too. I have the perfect domain though. But I need to find the right tools/software/programs.

What I have found so far are from Adobe. Specifically, the Flash CS4 Suite. It took me a little while to realize it was for game development, not web site dev. lol.

A friend recommended to me Adobe's Dreamweaver CS4. I havent been able to download the trial because the site is down presently. But I have no clue if it is the program that will be the best for designing a basic site.

Right now all I have been able to work with is Paint image mock ups. I have no working models and no money. Ive just been running off of trials since I have no money and it is not needed for me to havethe programs owned right now, considering they are $400 and im just trying to find the right program.

Thanks for everyone's help in advance. This is the grand experiment for me to see if I really can do this. Im taking Java & Media Arts classes this year in High School, so I'll be getting serious.

Thanks!
mk

For web development I use dreamweaver cs4 at the house and at work, we're not allowed to use it cause it costs money so I use Eclipse which is free. The only thing with eclipse is, its slow to load because its written in Java, but once it's up its fine, and it doesn't have a design view like CS4. Anyway look into those.

The Dreamweaver download site is still down, so I cant do much there. Im working on the Eclipse, seeing how it works, downloading, etc.

This is what Ive done just on one of my photo editors. stealthEnigma is my title because its just so cool. Most of my usernames are mk0092, but this name dominates.

I'd also reccomend dream weaver. Get the trial but don't buy it. Life could throw curveballs at you and you may not be able to go into web/flash dev. For now I would say use eclipse until you can actually write full webpages or have mastered flash. Fireworks is helpful to have if you have flash also

Ah! Who cares, I download a lot of stuff like movies for my own, from that web site [removed] and use the torrents I bet you'll find all the expensive programs there, you won't be selling them or anything, just practice on your own instead of spending lots of money, you should try to find some cracked programs there.

Rofl I use [removed] sometimes. can't trust it though. you gotta make sure you have a good antivirus cuz i tried downloading a cracked version of Garry's Mod 10, and the main .exe file to run it had a trojan attached to it.

I missed the url in monitors post.. it is now removed.

I don't want links or discussions about illegal stuff on the forums, it's a long standing rule. I'm not sure that website you mentioned has gone legal yet, I know I read news recently that said it was being bought and legitimized, until then, please don't link to it. You can PM however.

Okay then I was just wondering. Yeah I heard about that site's owners being sued or something. I'm surprised the site is still up.
