about joining the clan

ok, so i was thinking about joining the clan ever since i got to know you guys. i wanted to join for so long but i was part of another clan, i was co-leader of that clan and even though i wanted to quit i stayed there just to be nice. this morning my clan broke up. im free of a clan and i really want to join tkc. i hope you guys make the right choice (i also know how long this could take)

im doing great, im actually happy that the clan broke up because now i get to try out for tkc :D

I can't speak on behalf of TKC since I'm new, but the best way to get into the clan is to not only play on the servers but also be active on the forums and other events that TKC offers. There is a FAQ page that you can look at

Yes.. the only "tryout" is being a part of what we're doing on servers and our open invite to CTF on Weds and every other Sunday. That's the real "right thing to do".

Also, not doing stupid stuff in real life and getting kicked off of violent games for life by your parents does increase your chances of getting in.

Well I wasn't abele to make it to ctf tonight :( but I'll definitely still be active on the servers and stuff
nacho, where have you been?? I haven't seen you on the severs for like 2 months, and lol I got that joke about the parents :D

I did a stupid thing in real life, and my parents got really pissed. So they kicked me off HL2 Dm. For life. Im thinking of asking for it back for Christmas. Im a whole different person now. Much less spazy with the mic. If I ever come back (which I will in college, no doubt), I will wish to join TKC again.
And Im the Boss.

aww, that sucks cause I really enjoyed when you played. Hope you get it back for Christmas though :D

What sucks is we made good CTF partners. You figured out how I play faster than anyone I can remember and would just let me go in, get the flag, throw it to u, so u could score. It's pretty simple really.

lolz, yeah once i learned that you could actually throw the flag i started thinking of strategies. when i had our ctf with my old clan it was really hard to explain to them how to play. anyway i'll definitely be there next week

Lol. Playing Capture the Flag in real life might have helped too.
I just run fast. its really a simple transition, same weapons with a few cooler ones. One or two extra controls. Plus i read the CTF site real quick and played a quick pick up practice match once before the first night. Seemed to work.
