TKC (The Killing Committee) Forum

Thanks to everyone that showed up. I believe we had 14 show up, but ended up playing with 12 due to a couple having to leave. In true TKC form the event started late, to the tune of 1 hour and 34 minutes late. That was mostly due to having to wait until everyone could get into the proper starting spot and the fact that we didn't stress that everyone playing needed to be there ahead of time. Also, we had some problems with too many non-TKC players showing up on the public servers we were on and we had some people die to, what was most likely, ESP cheaters. In addition we had to change servers 3 times, finally going back to the safety of the TKC server where both teams were finally able to gather some loot.

It's obvious that we need to tweak some of the rules, mainly the rule about respawning after dying, coming back with no melee weapon is just cruel. If we do this again, we will make the rules more friendly. Dying should be rare in a scavenger hunt in my opinion. There should be a danger of it, but that's it. I died 4 or 5 times and ended up contributing ZERO points to my team. That isn't what it's about and next time, if there is one, we will adjust the rules.

With that said, the ending couldn't of been any more dramatic as you can see below:

Yep, 197 to 196! A one point win for Dragon's team. It doesn't get any closer than that.

And the MVP award goes to Dflynn! After one of his deaths he managed to get to a couple of cities and really clean up, bringing in a lot of valuable points for the winning team. Not to mention, he helped supply a lot of the players with the equipment they needed to get started. So, Congrats to Dflynn who will skip the two star event ribbon and move to the 3 star ribbon.

I loved it, the best part was to see in chat from the other team that they all got wiped out at NORAD by the super zombie.
