Tuesday, July 29th at 5PT, 6MT, 7CT, 8ET Scavenger Hunt II, "This time, it's personal".



We are going to have our 2nd ever scavenger hunt which, as those who participated the first time know, was a good time and good clan bonding experience. Some of you who are interested might not have Infestation: Survivor Stories, but if you want to participate, we will BUY the game for you. That's right, you will get a FREE game just to come spend a few hours with your clan mates. So let us know down below if you are interested and we'll work something out.

Rules below (this is a copy & paste job from our first scavenger hunt so these rules will be tweaked to accommodate the changes in the game).

1) Team that gathers the most loot points, wins.
2) You can only spawn in with a metal bat. No food, no water, just a metal bat (weapon subject to change) and a medium backpack (except team captain who can have a military ruck backpack).
3) The two teams are NOT allowed to attack one another.
4) If you are killed by other gamers on the server, the rest of your team can pick up your stuff, but you are forced to spawn in again with nothing but a metal bat and must find your team, or coordinate meeting up again (if we play on a public server with other players).
5) Contest will run 2 hours, at that time everyone needs to be in whatever safe zone we choose before we start, if you are not in the safe zone in time, your loot does not count for your teams total, no exceptions.
6) Items will be given point values, those values are below.
7) Once we are back in safe zone, everyone will need to tell their Captains how many of each item they acquired. Captains are responsible for counting their teams loot and reporting it to the event ref (who is allowed to participate on either team).
8) Players must stay on the same server at all times, no server hopping.
9) No killing other players (non-TKC) unless they shoot first.
10) If you kill someone from the other team (TKC member), you lose -100 points from your total score at the end.
11) No repairing weapons.
12) You can not use gold coin to revive your character if you die. You must spawn in with another character, metal bat, medium backpack (except team captain who can bring military ruck)
13) Can not delete and create new character if you die.
14) Team captain's will have night vision.
15) No vehicles can be used.

We are still working on point values so this isn't set in stone!
Guns (minus kruger pistol & rifle) FULLY LOADED/Sniper rifles no matter how much ammo/Military Ruck/repair kit - 10 points
MTV Forest Armor/IBA Sands Armor/MRE/Electro Aid/Alice backpack/All varieties of night vision goggles - 9 points
Medkit/bandages dx/frag grenades - 8 points
Canned food/soup/pasta/full clip ammo/large backpack/hammers - 6 points
Energy drinks/coconut water/1 liter waters/Lite Gear Forest Armor/Binoculars/CO4 vaccine - 5 points
Oatmeal/cola/helmets (not hats)/juice/vaccine/tactical knife/butterfly knife/all barricades/riot shields/range finder/oatmeal/bandages/pain pills/antibiotics/CO1 vaccine - 3 points
Water/chips/granola/chocolate bar/chemlights/flares- 1 point

Flashlights, bats (all types), charcoal, gun powder, barbed wire, rags, empty bottles, empty cans, ointment, metal scrap, duct tape, scissors, masks and regular hats don't count toward your total.

Yeah and there are a lot more items now that when we had the last scavenger hunt over a year ago.. but we're trying to figure it all out. hahah

Ok so now jax has emailed me telling me that he too 'forgot' his username/password. I'm starting to wonder if you guys have been hacked like me and Flynn were. If you guys can't seem to figure it out and you want to participate in the event, we will buy the game for you. Flynn bought it for himself again as well as me, that's how we're able to play again. And as far as I know, they haven't had any more problems with people hacking accounts.

So, if you have the game and you can't seem to login, follow whatever steps they offer for retrieving your information, but if it doesn't work, let us know and we will get the game for you.

Well, I would like to participate even though I don't have the game, I need to account of time. I tried to convert that time standards you posted, it seems around 9-12 PM here, so. Unfortunately I wouldn't be availble and also counting that it is on Tuesday. :/

Yeah that sucks.. we've tried having events on weekends and it always seems like people are doing things. :(

If you are near Seoul, that is 14 hours AHEAD of us.. so if we are starting at 7PM it would be 9AM, not PM, your time.

Oh god not this game again ...but the last one was fun so I guess I'll try and remember my login info.

Yeah there are so many hackers out there.. but they are all on the new map.. plus we have a private server if we need it. But we'll probably pick a Colorado map that has like 5-10 people on it so there is a CHANCE of getting killed via other players.

I submitted a ticket, if they can't do anything I will buy it from Steam

I'll try and login, I haven't touched the game since... like last spring. Hopefully I didn't get hacked. I'll try to be there.

i have reset everything and accessed my account and whats the private server so i can try the game and get used to it again haha. and last years hunt was fun so this one should be even better

I am going to try to log in, it seems like I tried a few months ago and was not able to get on my old account.
