Sorry to hear that. A composer I know has it and says it really is a pain at times. There are natural means to control it.

Ive had Tinnitus for over 30years. Sometimes its worse and most of the time you learn to ignore it. All the frquency blockers and such dont work worth a damn. Ive learned to just live with it.

Didn't know what it was until I looked it up. Sounds like it serves as a good warning to others not to turn your headphones on too loudly.
Sorry to hear you guys are having to deal with it.

I see that too, what a bunch of inconsiderates (j/k):
IF he has said he was blind, would you have said: sorry to SEE your post about being blind ?
IF he had become paralized: sorry, hope you feel better ?
So all kidding aside, how you do you figure this happened ? Think it was genetic or were you a head-banger in your younger hears ?

oooooo ... what happened to the bike in the first photo, looks like the front forks are bent as well as the wheel ?
So, because of the tone/ringing, its hard to hear everyone talking I imagine.

Hey man, hate to hear about your hearing problem....wife also has it and hers is what they call menieres disease. Her ringing is constant with loss of 95 % hearing in one ear and has been so for about 14 or more years.
You right..have to kinda live with it and I hope it diminishes some for you.

I had chronic ear infections as a kid, my tonsils blocked the drainage of liquids from my ear so any amount of liquid that got in my ear would cause an infection. Ive never had an ear infection since my tonsils were removed. One doctor thinks though that all the ear infections i had as a kid actually caused some brain damage and hinders my hand eye coordination. The doctor did a test on me where she asked me to hold out my arm and she touched me some where on my arm and asked me to point to where i think i felt it, and i was always off by a substantial amount. This was done because i am incapable of writing with a pen or pencil in school, and the physical therapists my school demanded i see gave up on me. I'm also 30% deaf in my right ear.
