Our donations have gone way down. I think we might have a couple more people donating, but we aren't getting the big donations like we were. We are going to be able to pay for 1 more month and then, TKC will not have the money to function any longer. Just a heads up.

How much do we need to collect each month to keep things going? I mean I dont want to donate $50 just to lose it anyways if its not enough to keep things going. I think we need to keep a posted log book of what is needed and how much has been collected. I think this would be helpful and more would step up to donate even a small amount if a bunch would do the same. $5 or $10 would add up fast.

I have never really liked the idea you are presenting because I think once you post what is in the account, when you get to the required monthly amount, people would stop donating and we never would of seen the surplus we've enjoyed the last few months.
Right now it probably costs us about $375-400 a month to operate, we have about $450 in the account I can tell you that we just paid our monthly bill about 10 days ago so we have a few weeks before we pay again.
If we get to the point where it doesn't look like we're going to be able to pay the bills, I will make a final plea for donations and when it doesn't happen, I will stop taking money. I'm sure your $50 or whatever you donate would be well spent on TKC.

I understand your point and we have had this discussion before. That does seem like a high amount to spend every month but if we can afford it then thats great. If not and we only muster up enough to keep a couple of servers running to keep expenses down, this might have to be considered as well. I would rather have 1 or 2 servers VS none,also if they say gas could hit $ 5.00 a gallon the economy will take a bigger dump than ever, so donations might be hard to come by as well, but as always T3, I will make my donation in the next few days.

Im just curious as to what happens if the worst case scenario happens, does TKC completely disband, do we just kind of play together with the tag but with no ts, no website, and no server? Im not asking this to look for reasons not to donate, i just want to know. If i can in the next week or so i will, as i have in the past, right now im just trying to save money for college and a car.

We have discussed this in the past month and at one point cancelled the dedicated server. However it was around that time that some changes were made and things were picking up so we cancelled the cancel. Before TKC went under, I'm sure we'd lose the dedicated server first and run like that with a lower monthly bill. I think right now flynn is still hopeful that we can bring in new recruits with a dedicated server as a selling point.

This would have to be something the other members decided on a individual level. I mean, if there was nothing left of TKC, then what would be the point? I don't think we're there yet as there are still a few who really care about the clan and want to see it continue.

Some of you know my situation, some don't, so for those that don't.....
I'm a Corporate VP, and because I get paid on our corporate net profit, it varies wildly based on if we have to make capital investments, or equipment investments like new trucks, machinery, or we just have a bad month or two.
The President, CFO, and Myself do not get salaries in the typical sense. We only make money after our mutiple facility payrolls are met, and all the bills are paid.
Last month we gave everyone Christmas bonus's....well, that comes right off the bottom line.
Not all bosses are bad and just look out for themselves.
Our company proudly cares about it's employees.
So, that said, I will help when I can.

as soon as my company gets off there ass and gives me my W2, i will donate at least $200 or more, i gotta run the numbers. Wife is not working so i am really depending on this check to come.

ok, well i didn't realize that being married cuts my refund in half, but i will contribute at least $50 or $100. Other then that, with the wife being out of work and me having to work two or three doubles each pay period to pay bills. I should be able to help out.
