hello.
No, I'm not a spambot.
Yes, I know I seem like one, but it is for good cause, because someone (like me) one day, might just hijack your shit, just because...
While our forums don't intersect at all, except in the love of gaming, I wanted to make you aware that all the hard work your GFX guy is doing, can easily be jacked from your forum and server. Lol.
http://tkc.clanservers.com/images/ribbons/small/Check that out. With that link, you can shoot through all your parent directories, look at all of the images, take the .psd Photoshop file that's in there, etc-etc.
While I only have use for them, to break them down into a 15x30, someone from an opposing forum (or gaming clan, in your case) could easily come in and snag that shit up.
Food for thought.Go through each of your image files and drop in a notepad file called index.htm -- it'll be blank, and open blank, if anyone wants to go rummaging through your laundry.
I'd also come hang out with you guys, if you played CS:S, but it seems like you don't.

One of Two.
1.) Who wrote the Tournament MOD for your phpBB3 forum/site? It's gorgeous and epic, but can it be edited and altered for a similar system, minus the gaming aspect?
2.) If yes (it can be edited or altered, because someone epic on this site assisted in it's dev), how much would it cost to purchase it for another PHPBB3-based forum?
-- Affiliate up, between us as well, because that's just epic. But more-so, another way of me thanking you, if this is possible.
-- & we do not cross interests, as far as clan-gaming goes. I used to be into that, but I haven't been in a long, long time.

Hey guy thanks a lot for the heads up. I have added a blank index.html based on your notification and I do appreciate your help. Because of that it saddens me to tell you that the tournament code, while written by me and a friend, isn't for sale. We did have plans to eventually use it for a pay website though that has yet to materialize, but I couldn't dash that dream by giving you the code and for that I am sorry. Of course you can still use it on our website, but I know that isn't what you were looking for.
Again, thank you for your help with the graphics permissions.

Hahaha, yeah -- a bit of a phantom, to appear in a clan page, I know.
Since I tore down my desktop before I left for Army Basic, I hadn't had the time to rebuild it since -- being that it was about June or so when I left and I'm still currently in AIT. But when I was up, I've admin'd a handful of servers for CounterStrike Source and never actually played Battlefield. So needless to say, I'm extremely familiar with the phpBB3 layouts (as I've been running my own sites/forums for years and years) and I know the theft that goes on when it comes to custom images. Lol. -- but completely clueless when it comes to this specific game. However, one FPS = all FPS. It's easy to get into them, and playing for a few weeks, I'm sure I'd be Rick Rollin'. <3
Ironically enough, bobz -- I seriously just Googled "medals phpbb" and a few of the TKC medals came up, with the pretty graphics and what-nots, so I started checking it out and behold, now I'm here, lol.
Honestly, the only reason I even bothered to say anything was because of the quality of graphical work that was presented in the medals, the slogans to each, and the craftsmanship. I admire excellent work, and I had to say something, lest people be robbin' your shitz, yo? ;]

As far as the tournament MOD goes, that's quite alright, dude.
I have a tourney mod, but it's so damn confusing between the Seasons and Ladders, and it doesn't come with any sort of Help.txt, that it's mind-boggling and would take me a week of constant play and help from my staff to just get the damn thing to look half-assed functional, you know?
I just liked the set up of yours, but we'd be using it for text-based role play, versus fps gaming. Thing Text-based Rift, or FF XIV. ;D

Random thoughts, however --
You know you can make Custom Profile fields, right?
Why dont'cha have that for Steam IDs, so that they're available for newbs (like myself) on the forum to hook up with everyone?
I've also added myself to the TKC group.

I've actually never gotten into everything phpBB can do.. I just did try to add the custom field and it keeps returning a '0'. I will look into it further when I get a chance.. thanks.

Actually, I think you might see me frequent this sight more often, after this weekend hopefully... :D
I'll be picking up BF3, so -- maybe then I'll work up an application.
As for T3, if you ever need help, dude -- hit me up. I can walk you through how to set up the Profiles, even give you a MOD that you can add in that will allow you to edit them in greater detail.
But changing them and then editing the permissions should be all you need. I think the MOD also has a feature that makes some of the fields Mandatory for members, etc...
