The "Thank You" Thread

I'm creating this thread because it has been suggested to me that people who do good things for the clan, whether its through effort, time, money, recruiting, etc, should be able to get recognized more easily and readily than is happening right now. That's what this thread is all about. I'm going to leave this stickied so if you have reason to give thanks to another member, post it here and everyone will be able to see it. Over time this should turn into the biggest thread on the forums. To get this started I will give a couple of shout outs, and please, when someone gives out a "thank you", be sure to comment and slap the recipient on the back.

I would like to thank, and I think everyone here should back me up on this, the people who keep this clan financially sound. Brownman, BikerDog, dflynn, boo_yaa, Crimson, oscar, our new member Kybosh and others. Without their donations this clan wouldn't exist. It's as simple as that. Back in the day it was pretty easy for me and a couple of others to keep the clan in money because it didn't cost that much each month to cover our bills, NOT ANY LONGER. I encourage you all to go to our main website and then go look at the donations we've received: http://tkc.clanservers.com/#_donate_tab. Without these members supporting us, TKC would be a run of the mill, crappy clan. I think we all owe them a big THANK YOU!

And finally I would like to thank GeneralNukem for his work in the Campaign Department. He has really come in there and brought fresh ideas and put in his time and effort. Without recruiters, again, this clan dies. We have to constantly bring in new members and without dedicated people like GeneralNukem we go no where. So, not only a thank you to him, but to all the guys in there trying to get things done for you and TKC. THANK YOU!

I would like to thank T3 first of all simply for running this clan by what seems to be a swiss approach and by that I mean he takes no side and simply lays the laws down. Also simply for striving to make an all ready good website even better, and going for the "Best" server ideas (Dedicated as opposed to single etc) despite the cost.

I would also like to thank the admins I've seen in the past drop the game they are playing and joining the game simply to drop the "Ban hammer" or to simply watch and make sure people obey the rules if I have to be specific it would be Plum, T3, Dragon, TK, Drezz, and Crimson. (probably more I just don't quite remember all the instances.

I'd like to thank Nukem for going out of his way to think of different ideas in which to recruit, voting us up on other forums, "Pimping us out" to other companies and everything he's done has shown with how many freaking new members I've never even met are joining =P

Finally I'd like to thank Plum, King, Cecil, Dragon and Bikerdog for looking at my PC parts and helping me choose better/cheaper ones. You guys have really fixed a lot of small regrets I'd have had in building my PC

First i know that I already did it a lot of times before but now that we have a special treat for it I would like to thank all the leaders for all the good works they have done for our clan even if some time itā€™s hard but they do it without complaining, and to our admins I would to say that you are so special for TKC ā€¦I know I wasnā€™t there with you in the game for the last few days, there is no word to thank you, you are the eyes and the hands of TKC I know we have rules but without you they mean nothing thank you, thank you, thank you. To the rest of you our members, the seeders, the image of our clan, thank you for your support, thank you for your donations, thank you for all our new members if they are with us itā€™s because you the recruiters.

I would like to thank T3 for having the patience and resilience to keep this clan running. He took the reins when Big Flem and Squidward became less active, and has turned this clan from a small HL2DM clan to an amazing group of people and a much bigger gaming clan. He's not afraid to call someone out when they're not doing something right (myself included on a couple instances) and basically says shape up or lose your powers/get kicked from the clan. Plain and simple, and down-to-earth. I personally think he is the perfect person to be running this clan. He's level-headed, and always knows what's best for the clan itself. Thanks for making TKC into something awesome, and I am proud to be a part of this clan

T3 has done a fabulous job and deserves a million kudo's!

I want to personally thank the server fund contributers, server seeders, the recruiters, and all those members that take a little of whatever they can contribute(Time, money, effort) to make this an internationally recognised squad.

I want to encourage all members to invest themselves into doing something (anything) to move the ball forward for the team.

If you don't know how.....then ask a leader. (Like T3, dflynn, Brownman, Kingloser, BooYaa, Colby, Plumbroke, etc, etc, etc...)

I would like to thank everyone who keeps the clan moving forward, all the members included. I would however like to give a special shoutout to the monetary contributors who honeslty keep this clan alive. I'm not saying those who cant donate are bad members, i myself havent been able to give in a while. I'm just saying that i personally appreciate what others are doing so that i can be a part of something i love. THANKS

I want to thank EVERYONE. The last time I was in a group like this was when I joined the USAF. The camaraderie that we have here is the closest to thing to that I will ever be able to have again and I want to thank each and every one of you for allowing me to take part in this community. I've enjoyed my time with TKC since day one and it just continues to get better, thanks for the memories and as always happy gaming!

Yes I forgot the server seeders. How stupid of me. Seedings servers is a fairly THANKLESS job that requires patience and lots of time. Not only that, but it's something that negatively affects your gaming stats. We do have a ribbon and medal for server seeders but I know it's nice to hear, 'good job' from time to time and I definitely appreciate anyone who is willing to sit on a server just to fill it. Without you guys, we'd probably be one of those clans that have no servers and no point to existing, so again, THANK YOU.

As for the kind words from others directed towards me, thank you very much. Especially Crimson who I ride pretty hard but only because I expect him to lead the younger guys to clan maturity. You gotta love teenaged members who have given time, money and effort because I know when I was that age I had a lot going on. Church activities, girls and hanging out with my friends so I do recognize you are a valuable member. Thanks.

thanks to everyone who makes this clan stand out above the rest, which it does. Like Remi, I usually avoid clans due to the usual drama and dickhead leaders (pardon the french) but the members & leaders of this clan work hard to keep out the riff raff and keep the environment fun the play in, which is not an easy task.

I would like to thank everyone in this clan. I have pretty much been playing with you guys since I started online gaming. My first online FPS game was HL2DM, and I entered Big Flem's Boom Boom Room, because it sounded funny. I can't imagine what gaming would be like without people I know to play with. I have spent so many great moments with you guys, and I hope I still will.

I especially want to thank the T3 and the other leaders, because they work so hard to keep TKC running at full steam. And of course the many seeders and donators. It's amazing to see people so dedicated that they spend a lot of their time and money for TKC.

Also, thanks to everyone who helped me build my first PC : ME, Dragonrage, cobra, Kingloser, Earthman, Plum, Pengwin, Viperman, BikerDog, Crimson and Brownman.

I'd personally like to thank Plum and Dragon for being the two that introduced me to the clan in a way, and made make me feel personally welcome here on the battlefield and off.

I'd also like to thank T3, Flynn, King, and all the other leaders and admins for doing more and showing more ambition to make this clan the best it can be and be as active as it can be than i have ever seen in any other clan.

Thank you too all TKC members that are here since BC2 came out. i got too know you pretty well and its my pleasure playing with you.
