Kyle "FPSRussia" Myers (born May 5, 1986) is an American internet personality known for his Youtube videos in which he impersonates a Russian dubbed by him "Dimitri" and fires various firearms. As of September 2011, he has the 16th most subscribed YouTube channel. As of September 17 2011, he has more than 250 million views on his videos.

Kyle created his first YouTube channel "klm5986" on the 18th of May 2006 and uploaded his first video which was of the Video Game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on the 3rd of July 2009. He started his "FPSRussia" channel on the 19th of April 2010. He became known for "using real weapons to debunk video game myths" and often showed viewers what weapons featured in video games, particularly Call of Duty, were actually like to use and how they differed from the way they are presented in video games.[1] He has stated that he got his idea for "FPSRussia" from his Russian boss - when he worked as a car salesman.

At first Kyle was able to produce his videos without much investment, since he already had a large collection of firearms, and a large amount of ammunition. Now he is able to use more interesting and expensive firearms in his videos, since they are loaned to him by vendors, and in exchange, Kyle links their websites in the description of his videos.

Kyle also appears in the weekly and long-standing podcast Painkiller Already, alongside other popular YouTube gamers, WoodysGamertag [2] and WingsofRedemption, in which he frequently prank calls (often in the persona of FPSRussia) people found on Craigslist selling obscure items or to businesses such as Walmart and Sony.

In July 2011, FPSRussia collaborated with Epic Meal Time, a popular "food porn" Youtube channel "with more subscribers than Justin Bieber", to create a video involving cooking food with firearms.[3] He was called by the Belgian branch of French radio channel RTL "the firearms expert of Youtube." [4]

Kyle grew up on a farm in Georgia, United States of America and grew up around firearms and was taught to shoot at a young age by his father. He has, in the past, participated in competitive target shooting.

wikipedia is about as reliable as anything else on the web though, seeing as it's user editing information. For all we know he could be some crazy KGB spy! lol not really.

Actually, since Wikipedia's growth it's now HIGHLY monitored for changes, around a year ago as a joke to my friend to show how reliable the info on wikipedia was, I wiki'd the moon and said it was made of cheese, within 20 minutes I got a message to my email saying "False information is not true yada yada site your sources, yada yada if it happens again you're banned" so yeah, it's as reliable if not more reliable then anything else on the net.
