Hey, I've got this new Corsair Voyager flashdrive, and it is a 3.0 flash drive. I have installed the "NEC" usb 3.0 drivers which I downloaded from Gigabyte's download section. But the problem is that i get the same transfer speeds in the 3.0 ports as the 2.0 ports ( about 15 MB/s) I know this should be faster, because a friend of mine has the same flash drive, and he is getting way better speeds. I donno what to do....
PS: I have a Gigabyte 870A-UD3 mobo.
Can you guys help me?

Foff.

are you plugging into the actually usb 3.0 port or the front port because those are only 2.0 and that will still cause you slow data transfer. otherwise the drive might be slow because it might not be formatted right or my be faulty try different ports first than look at format and than if is still not working ask your friend to bring his over to try on your system you ports might not be working properly.

I have tried both his and mine. They are excact same models, and his are transferring with 3.0 speeds on his, but not on mine. And yes. I have same transfer speeds when I plug them in the front of the chase as if I am plugging them in the back on the blue 3.0 ports. I really donno what's the problem, and its getting frustrating..
Thank you for you'r help.

so you tried yours on his computer and got the same speeds? if so and you tried all the 3.0 ports on the back try uninstalling and reinstalling the software to test if thats the error if not than i would suggest faulty 3.0 ports.

It is wierd i think either the flash isnt done right or damaged or the port is not functioning properly.

When I was in the install/uninstall section in W7, there was listed two different USB 3.0 Drivers... I think that may have something to do with it.. What do you think?

Every computer I have tried the Voyager in gets about 20MB/s in the 2.0 ports. With my other USB 2.0 flash drives, I get around 3-7MB/s
