Won't be gaming for a bit.

My power supply is going kaput. After playing BC2 for a bit, everything freezes and I get a buzzing noise through my speakers, then the buzzing stops and everything stays frozen until I reset. I'm going to order this PSU after I get paid on Friday.

Well...long story short, it's not my PSU. It was MSI Afterburner. Apparently the newest stable version, 2.1, has issues with Bad Company 2. I got 2.1 because they added voltage control support for my card (Radeon 6870). I reverted back to 2.0, and I played for about 2 1/2 hours with no issues. I'm still getting that PSU and another 6870 for BF3.

I actually had a problem with afterburner the other day: it caused BFBC2 to randomly crash to a white screen but windows continued working other wise. I just had to ctrl-shift-esc to close the process for both and then reopen BFBC2 but I was only running it as a monitor instead of setting things with it.
