How we lookin as far as money goes?

Well thanks to two hefty donations by a guy who isn't even a member (though I hope he will apply soon), and some other nice donations, we have enough to cover the bills for next month, but that doesn't mean we don't still need money. There are some things we promised but hasn't happened yet due to money, namely the t-shirts (yes I know we owe you one Crimson). The money to cover that got tied up, and I'm not sure when it will be available, but if we keep getting decent donations then we might be able to help the person who was going to buy the t-shirts (brownman). In other words.. keep it up! And if you've never given before and are capable, what is it going to take to shame you into it?

i dont want to sound forward or rude, but is there a reason you havnt applied. we would luv to have you in TKC.

In 1999 when Novalogics Delta Force game came out I joined a squad that ran one of the two best custom maps servers. it was called "Gunney's World" (Gunney made the maps....the other top custom map server at the time was Fat & Harry's) .

But I digress.... I was one of the original "Drity Dozen" and beacause of our popularity back then, our ranks grew to over 60 people. Then the sniping, back-biting, politics, t-shirt, finances, etc began. It just about ended the squad. Eventually a bunch of folks went off and started their own squad...which was all good.

But it was never the same for me. Watching grown men fight over the silliest and dumbest issues I could imagine put a sour taste on the whole squad/clan thing for me.

Plus there's the whole learning the fight song, the special handshake, the mandatory meetings with the silly hats, and the whole "being active in the community" thing.

By the way, I hired one of my old GD gaming buddes to run our factory in Alabama. He's done a great job and is making more than he ever did in his adult life....just bought a house too. I'm happy for him. He's an old Marine M60 gunner (In real life) that I've known for years and I'd trust him my life with. So who says gamiing doesn't pay!

Bottom line - I'd join if I could be immunized from the politics and that other stuff.... My job streeses me out enough. The gaming is a relief and escape from that stress.

You have a great group of folks here. I truly enjoy playing on your servers and I've tried to express my appreciation where I can, and even share a little about who I am.

Bottom line....I just want to play and have fun.

I really liked BHD until the map modders started getting insane with M.C. Escher flavor/style designs.

But I really got addicted with the Delta Force 1 & 2 versions. I still have the DF Extreme disk tempting me to load it again

Love Novalogics neverending, no wall / zone of death....you could freaking go forever. LOL

My gaming heart is with the Battlefield series. I played 2142 to death and had a blast.

We do have some conflicts from time to time, but our leadership is older for the most part.. two 40 year olds and a near 30 year old.. or are you in your 30's now King? Anyway, we've been around now for a few years, and seem to be doing ok. But we of course respect your decision.. as long as your are part of the community, I'm happy.

i hit 30 next month. But everyone has their ticks. Its a bunch of guys (mainly and im not dissing the girls) who are having fun and trying to get braggin rights so sometimes stuff can get a lil out a hand but as long as it gets reigned back in its all good. We try to make everyone feel as welcome as possible and respect them as long as we get their respect back. Were usually pretty fair on most stuff, but if we do mess up we step up and handle the matter. Im glad u like us and are willing to be at least a part of our player community if not a member. Hope to see you sometime and maybe even knife u in the back (literally i love the knife ) almost at 2000 knife kills

yeah but i guess when the site got deleted it took out my avatar and signatures, i just used the ones i had saved on my flashdrive
