We'll see how this goes. If you see some weird stuff, just ignore it until I say I'm done. Thanks.

Ok boys and girls I believe I am done with this update. We are now on the latest version of phpBB. Probably the most noticeable addition is the "Quick Reply" option you can use.

I believe I tested everything but I almost always overlook something so if something isn't working that was working before, or if there is some information you used to be able to obtain on the forums and it's no longer there, then let me know. I heavily MOD our forums to add cool features and support type stuff that helps us maintain other areas of the website. Because of that it's not overly easy to update the forums and sometimes I don't copy code I wrote to the newer version of the file. I have a backup of the old forums so can copy and paste stuff if you point anything out. Thanks.

oooh very nice. I'm curious though, because I've seen the quick reply option on Techgage's board (they use vbulletin) and for quick reply, there's a box at the bottom of the page where you can type and post your quick reply. Here all I see is the quick reply button, which you click on and it takes you to a regular posting page just like if you would click "post reply." Is it supposed to be like this? cuz it just seems like another button to me. lol.

Well since it's like that, yes that's how it's suppose to be. But I agree. Hopefully they will change it soon. I don't feel like modding it myself because it'll just be one more thing I have to maintain.
