i said that i do blame the coach some but he cant make the players take responsibility. he can tell them what needs to happen, show them how to do it, but when its game time its all up to them. I dont personally think they werent prepared they just seemed cocky almost like it wasnt gonna happen again and even if it did theyd be able to come back. and u can only live on the edge for so long before u fall off. plus the back line seemed to lack cohesiveness like they didnt trust each other. and if that was the case theres nothing anyone coulda done about it. theres no way u can make someone trust someone else and they seemed to be wanting to play for themselves and less as a team. Also was there something wrong with Onyewu? He only played that one game. i know he was coming off an inury but he was regarded as one of our best defenders. and if he was hurt that bad maybe they shoulda dropped him and picked up someone else. Im just hoping that another let down doesnt crush soccer. We already have too many players choosing football, basketball and baseball becuase they can make more money. Too bad soccer wasnt as big here as it is in Europe then the players would get paid more and a few more might be interested in soccer over one of the other big Sports.
